What's overlooked, is the discussion around relevance and choice. We need to identify what is more suited for the purpose, or is more relevant  - to the business, to the people, the environment, to the society, or simply to the job at hand. The onus lies with the designer to make the right choice that is most relevant to the job, and this can only be achieved by cross-pollination of ideas with other disciplines. The future of design is thus acknowledging the intersectionality between design and other professions such as arts, business, engineering, law, medicine, biology, finance, or any other professions, to provide relevant and meaningful solutions.    About Nachiket Nachiket is the co-founder of Coeo Labs,  an award-winning Med-Tech startup working in the field of emergency and critical care.
